Continuity of Operations –Webinar Series

July 5, 2011

Effective continuity management allows organizations to maintain a competitive advantage, key business functions, and systems of integrity.

FEMA's National Continuity Programs (NCP) Directorate is now offering a monthly continuity webinar series . The webinars are specifically designed for those who plan, train, and manage continuity of operations programs such as:

    • Private sector individuals involved in Business Continuity/Continuity of Operations
    • Faith based, volunteer, and neighborhood partnerships
    • Professors and students enrolled in Homeland Security and Business Continuity programs
    • State, local, tribal and territorial emergency managers
    • Federal Preparedness Coordinators
    • Federal Executive Board and Federal Executive Association members

Tune in to the series for discussions on:

o   identifying your organization's exposure to internal and external threats

o   synthesizing hard and soft assets to provide effective prevention, planning, and recovery before, during or after a disaster.

Webinars occur the first Wednesday of every month at approximately 2pm EST.  Each 45 minute webinar includes a 10 minute Question and Answer session. Take this opportunity to meet with continuity experts across the emergency management family and share best practices on how government, organizations, and communities can prepare for and recover from a disaster.
